About Us

Hi! My name is Liz and I'm the artist behind Crycheting! I learned to crochet when I was 12 (thank you, YouTube) and have barely stopped since. While my work has evolved over the years, I tout crocheting as a versatile art that grows with me, as my visions and inspirations grow and shift.

The name Crycheting is a portmanteau of the words "crying" and "crocheting." I often found myself combining these activities and so from there came the name. Nowadays, while I do slightly less crying, I still use crocheting as a calming and grounding tool.

Now, I'm ready to share my work and have my pieces be enjoyed by others as a source of comfort as they have been for me.
